5Kids Race To Success!

HealthStyle Fitness, Inc. to Raise Awareness for Wish Kids & Life Success Seminars
July 15st, Cincinnati, Ohio - To help raise awareness for Cincinnati's
Adventures for Wish Kids and Life Success Seminars, HealthStyle Fitness, Inc. is pleased to announce the inaugural 5Kids Race to Success 5K Run/Walk to be held on October 17, 2004.Adventures for Wish Kids is a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides continuing support and lasting memories for children and adolescents with life threatening illness.
"Over 12,000 children are diagnosed annually with life threatening illness in America. In Southwest Ohio alone hundreds of new kids are treated in local hospitals for such illnesses.
Most wish granting organizations were founded at a time when children diagnosed with life-threatening illness, such as cancer or cystic fibrosis, were expected to live only two or three years. Today, due to medical advances, most children will fight their illnesses for five to ten years!
Because we believe that smiles, laughter and friendships are truly life's best medicine, we saw a need for continuing support, with fun-filled group activities for these children and their families", says Judy Olvey, Director of Cincinnati's Adventures. "This past year we have served over 1800 local Adventures For Wish Kids family members".
In addition, Life Success Seminars, another Cincinnati-based non-profit organization will be a beneficiary & key contributor to the race. The mission of Life Success Seminars is to provide tools for people to experience success and fulfillment. By providing the highest quality seminars and workshops available, LSS enables individuals to make an enriching and positive difference in their own lives and the lives of others.
"I have personally experienced many of the workshops provided by Life Success Seminars and have watched my own growth as well as many others make enriching and positive changes in their own lives," says Brian Calkins, president of HealthStyle Fitness, Inc. "We spend so much time educating ourselves within our profession, Life Success helps me become a better father, spouse and friend, essentially the organization has helped me become a more complete person. It's been a very rewarding experience".
The race will be held at the Life Success Conference Center located at 9248 Princeton Glendale Road, West Chester, Ohio 45011.
In addition to creating the 5Kids Race to Success event, Mr. Calkins will be providing 9-week and 13 week fitness preparation plans for the event at no cost.
