About Brian Calkins

Recognized as one of the top trainers in the country, Brian Calkins has developed a strong following of faithful fitness enthusiasts through out greater Cincinnati and beyond. In June of 2004 Brian was honored as one of the nation's top 50 personal trainers by the American Association of Personal Trainers.

Mr. Calkins has a strong passion for helping athletes reach their highest potential. He is a presenter and author of various publications including The Power of Champions (co-author),  available for sale worldwide. Brian is a contributor to Men's Fitness magazine, conducts a monthly radio show in Cincinnati and has been seen on Good Morning Cincinnati (Local-12 CBS). In August, 2005 Brian's training company was featured in the Wall Street Journal.

In response to the absolute need and desire to deliver the highest functionally trained and conditioned high school athlete on the football field, Cincinnati Football Training and its programs have been developed by Brian, with input from other nationally recognized trainers. The Camp is facilitated by Ashley Kinker, a former division I collegiate athlete, supervised by Brian and focuses on developing skill, biomechanical efficiency and movement strength. Special attention is paid to the development of a work ethic that will last a lifetime and transcends sports and fitness.

Our mission is to deliver the highest functionally trained and conditioned athlete on the field. Our athletes may or may not always be the most skilled, but they are the last athlete standing as the time runs out in the fourth quarter!
